Surprisingly Quiet Sunset on Seven Mile

Great weather after an increasingly depressing period of rain (three years so far) and I thought a Saturday night at Gerroa would be busier on the beach. Not complaining mind you - I like it quiet - just surprised.

For the last 16 years I’ve been photographing, blogging (and more recently vlogging) about everything I find, see and enjoy here in South Coast, New South Wales. Shooting through the dune grass towards the setting sun makes lovely abstract shots with a peaceful vibe to them.

If I had to pick one photo that summed up what it's like to be on Seven Mile Beach at sunset, it would probably be this.
