I wanted to take aerial photographs so much that I gave serious consideration to buying an $18,000 drone that flew from a special flight case. That was over a decade ago and fortunately for me, the cost of drones came down and I finally got to take to the skies five years ago with a purchase of one of the early DJI drones. It's hard to beat that view.

I got my first drone in 2016 and have enjoyed capturing the local landscape from new and interesting vantage points. Drones let you get new views, new vantage points and new perspectives. This is my collection of daytime aerial shots taken with a Phantom 4 and a Mavic 2 Pro.

For the last 16 years I’ve been photographing, blogging (and more recently vlogging) about everything I find, see and enjoy here in South Coast, New South Wales.
