Sunrise on the Wharfs

Instead of going to the beach I decided to photograph this sunset from the river. I parked up at the public wharf and walked down to the smaller private wharfs and jettys. Not a breath of wind meant the water was glassy and perfectly reflected the pastel skies.

For the last 16 years I’ve been photographing, blogging (and more recently vlogging) about everything I find, see and enjoy here in South Coast, New South Wales. Shooting through the dune grass towards the setting sun makes lovely abstract shots with a peaceful vibe to them.

If I had to pick one photo that summed up what it's like to be on Seven Mile Beach at sunset, it would probably be this.
