Practical Photoshop Alternatives for Mac Users

Life after Photoshop

J
ust when you think Adobe have sunk as low as any monopolistic multinational corporate monolith can – they surprise us all once more.

No, I’m not talking about their shady A.I. implementation, corrupt business practices or even their horrendous subscription opt-out system – I’m talking about money. Yes, they’ve put their prices up again – automatically moving anyone on the all-you-can-eat package onto a new more expensive option… because A.I.

And, specifically for photographers – removing the excellent 20Gb £15 per month package and replacing it with a £30 per month one instead for all new users and £24 per month for existing users.

So if Adobe have pushed you too far this time and you’ve cancelled your subscription – the question is this – what do you replace Photoshop with? I’ve got some solid recommendations for Mac users that should ease the migration and save you a substantial amount of money into the bargain.
