Your Mac Can Run Software Apple Never Told You About – Exploring Apple Container

Apple's own container platform turns your Apple Silicon Mac into a launchpad for an entire library of free software you've probably never heard of, and Davit is the free native app that makes running it as simple as a few clicks. In this video I install Stirling PDF (a proper Acrobat alternative), talk through why Apple Container beats dicking about with Docker, and run through a stack of other genuinely useful free apps you can try for yourself, along with the couple of catches worth knowing before you dive in.
