Revert Unsplash – How to Hide all the Commercial Paid-for Getty Shit from Searches
Simple solution to corporate bollocks

I’ve gone on the record for stating quite clearly what I think of Unsplash, particularly since it was bought by the Getty Corporation. To be crystal clear, it has always been a staggeringly cynical rip-off and it is doubly so since Getty bought it and filled the search returns with their commercial photos.
If you’re searching for free images to use on a website or in a design then you’ll know that every other thumbnail has that + getty logo on it which means it’s not free, it’s a commercial paid-off image that you need to licence.
There is, however, a quite simple way of blocking those search returns completely from Unsplash using either a Chrome-based brower or Firefox.
