Whales in a Windy Bay and Sunset at a Stormy Gerroa

We headed out on Sunday with the intention of going to Jervis Bay, but not sure exactly where in the bay. On the way I decided to drive up to the Beecroft Weapons Range, which has just re-opened, and we headed down to Long Beach. As luck would have it a whale and her calf were in the bay, but too far out for the drone, so we mainly just watched them breaching. Then we headed back north to Gerroa where we enjoyed a wet and stormy sunset.

Location

Jervis Bay is an official marine park and protected waters. It is home to some of the most picturesque beaches on the planet and is home to two national parks. The northern side is called the Beecroft Peninsula and the southern side is the Bherwerre Peninsula. To the north is the Beecroft Weapons Range and to the south is Booderee National Park.
