Shoalhaven Visitors Guide 2017

Towards the end of 2016 I was involved in photographing beaches for the team at Visit Shoalhaven for the 2017 Visitors Guide. The guide has now been released and it looks terrific. There are 109 beaches in the Shoalhaven region and I photographed every last one of them for a special project called the 100 Beach Challenge.

Fire up https://100beachchallenge.com/ on your smartphone when you’re at one of the beaches and you can log your location and take a picture and track how you’re doing on a leaderboard. It’s just a bit of fun and a great way to discover new beaches. There’s also a tear-out map in the back of the visitors guide that lets you plan where to visit next.

My photographs have also been used extensively throughout the guide (my favourite is on the Welcome page) and I also wrote a great deal of the text in the guide too. You can pick a copy up at regional visitors centres or request a copy by post or download a PDF version here – https://www.shoalhaven.com/guide . Would love to hear your feedback 🙂

Sounds like a great initiative. How long did it take you to get to all the beaches?
