Sea Eagles, Succulents and Sunrise on Seven

Both Catherine and I were up early yesterday, so we headed down to Shoalhaven Heads beach. There had been a promise of awesome high level clouds but the forecast models were slightly out and the cloud rolled in 100km to the south. Still, it was a great sunrise with my friend the sea eagle making a welcome appearance and I got some varied shots of Seven Mile at this great time of the day.

Location

Shoalhaven Heads Beach is towards the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, just before the start of the old Shoalhaven River mouth. It’s a fairly wild bit of beach as they go, but you can capture some great shots by including the arc of the beach heading north and south.
