If you know how to read the forecast, it’s entirely possible to get somewhere a bit special before a good sunrise. I had high confidence that this particular morning was going to deliver the goods so I made my way onto the opening southern section of the Kiama Coastal Path and found a great composition with a lone tree guarding sentinel over the bay.
This photograph is actually something of a historic document. I took it on the 1st of June in 2013 and if you were to stand precisely where I was when I took this and angle your camera in the same direction, you’d have an enormous concrete house sitting on that formerly pristine grassy headland. Nothing against the architecture, I just like unblemished nature.
