There are three main access points onto Seven Mile Beach – Gerroa in the north, Shoalhaven Heads in the south and Berrys Beach right in the middle. This is actually the closest beach to my house but I don’t often come here for sunrise because there’s not a huge amount of foreground interest to include in any photograph. But sometimes I’m tempted anyway and so it was on this particular morming when that lovely splash of colour shone out between the trees at the end of the elevated footpath onto the beach.
This is a single exposure shot on a tripod at f4.5 for two seconds. I took it in March 2019 as summer was turning to autumn.
