The east coast of Australia is home to a number of iconic ocean rock pools, but my favourite by some margin is the Blue Pool at Bermagui. The pool is accessed from a steep set of steps down the side of the rockface and is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer’s day. The rocks surrounding the Blue Pool make for a scenic accompaniment to a swim and the Pacific Ocean here has been known to deposit the occasional shark in the pool.
This aerial shot was taken with my DJI Phantom 4 drone in the summer of 2016.
