Shoalhaven Heads has a lot of advantages over over coastal villages and principle amongst these is its location on both beach and river. The southern end of Seven Mile Beach is at Shoalhaven Heads and the mighty Shoalhaven River flows past the town its southern side. And as always, Mount Coolangatta provides a dramatic backdrop to the scene.
This shot was taken in winter 2017 with my Phantom 4 drone. It’s a tone-mapped image comprised of three individual exposures to ensure a wide dynamic light range was captured.
