The cliffs at Point Perpendicular are 100m high and provide a superb vantage point from which to watch the traffic coming and going through the heads of Jervis Bay. They also serve as a terrific subject when the sun rises behind them. I photographed the peninsula from Hyams Beach using a 300mm zoom lens. The two lighthouses (both modern and historic) are clearly visible, as are the stone lighthouse keeper’s cottages.
This is a tone-mapped image from three exposures taken in the winter of 2019.
