I’ve spent more time than I care to admit to tramping around in the backwaters of the Shoalhaven River estuary. It’s only a short walk around from the top car park to the little inlets, creeks and sandbars of the top-most part of the river, but I nearly always have the place entirely to myself. This particular photograph was taken a short distance from the top car park, as the sun set behind Mount Coolangatta.
This photograph was take in June 2018 on a warm winter’s evening. I set the tripod up at its lowest setting so that I could capture this driftwood in the foreground of my shot and took the photograph at f8 at 20mm on my 10-22mm wide angle lens.
