You can find Broughton Creek about a kilometre east of the small rural town of Berry. It is a slow moving tributary of the larger Shoalhaven River and joins that particular body of water near Pig Island at the wider northern section. It’s not a river that is greatly favoured for fishing or boating or anything really, but it does look really pretty, particularly at sunrise and sunset.
On this particular evening I was caught out by the sunset colour and made a mad dash from my house to the first available vantage point I could access. That vantage point turned out to be the bridge over Broughton Creek and I caught this particular shot shooting through the reeds on the edge of the riverbank.
