Tucked away on the north-western side of Jervis Bay, protected from both wind and swell is Red Point. This outcrop of rock has special siginficance to the aborginal of the Yuin tribe who used to bring their children here to be taught about the many and varied kinds of fish and other oceanic life living in the bay.
For this aerial shot I wanted to have as smooth a fall-off light across the scene as possible. To achieve this I took 10 bracketed photographs, capturing an extremely wide dynamic light range and then combined them using exposure mapping to create a single image, lit as accurately as possible.
