New Denoising Methods That Take a Different Approach

ouple of weeks ago DxO released a new version of their brilliant PureRAW pre-processor – and immediately everyone started asking when the new denoising methods would appear in their flagship PhotoLab RAW editor. Normally it takes them about six months to roll out an update but this year they caught everyone out, including me, by releasing a new version of PhotoLab just a week later.
Never mind the fact that they were in such a rush that they accidentally disabled the export image menu and then took 10 days to fix it – I still applaud the new release schedule. Revolutionary timing, questionable execution, let’s take a look at PhotoLab 8.5.
