Life Enlarged - Exploring Gerroa at Sunset Through a Big Zoom

About 90% of the shots that I take are usually with a wide angle lens because I like fitting a lot of landscape into that frame. However I just added a 400mm telephoto lens to my kit lens which  is amazing and, since my Fujifilm X-T4 is a cropped sensor camera the actual focal length of the new lens is 600mm. That means you can get wildlife much larger in the frame, but it also opens up amazing new possibilities for landscape photography that I am keen to explore. These shots were all taken today – the bird images in the back garden and everything else at Gerroa.

For the last 16 years I’ve been photographing, blogging (and more recently vlogging) about everything I find, see and enjoy here in South Coast, New South Wales. This is my blogging site focused on my hobby (and part-time job) of photography. Please enjoy my little writing and my photography and I’d love to hear your feedback.
