Golden Skies from Horizon to Horizon

I was up 90 minutes before sunrise on this particular morning and, like I always do, checked the satellite images to see what the cloud was doing. But for some reason I misread it and thought the blanket of cloud was low cloud (which is bad) rather than high cloud (which is good). So I sat on my bed flicking through my Instagram feed when I should have been on the road. About 45 minutes before sunrise I thought I’d have a look out of the window anyway, and that’s when I saw the colour. Well, let me tell you, it didn’t take me very long to get dressed and of down the road in the car to Shoalhaven Heads. Fortunately I caught the best of the colour and captured this glorious sunrise in photos and video.

For the last 16 years I’ve been photographing, blogging (and more recently vlogging) about everything I find, see and enjoy here in South Coast, New South Wales. This is my blogging site focused on my hobby (and part-time job) of photography. Please enjoy my little writing and my photography and I’d love to hear your feedback.
