Classic Spring Sunset over the Shoalhaven Estuary

My usual evening sky-check revealed some really promising high clouds prior to Sunday’s sunset, so I headed out nice and early. I decided to go to Hay Avenue because I haven’t shot there in a little while and I fancied doing a timelapse. I got the timelapse set up and set the drone up and then shot with my DSLR until the sky started back-lighting. As the sun sank below the horizon the oranges gave way to pinks and purples and finally dark ochre reds. The photos came out well and the timelapse is pretty nice too.

For the last 16 years I’ve been photographing, blogging (and more recently vlogging) about everything I find, see and enjoy here in South Coast, New South Wales. This is my blogging site focused on my hobby (and part-time job) of photography. Please enjoy my little writing and my photography and I’d love to hear your feedback.
