When you live on the coast, one of the things you have to get used to pretty quickly is wind. Here on the east the north-easterly winds usually start picking up at about midday and boy can they blow. This can make flying a drone problematic, so when there’s no wind around sunset I immediately think I should take advantage of it. And that’s precisely what I did last night, heading over to Gerringong.
Located just to the south of the famous Kiama Bends, Gerringong is a popular coastal town two hours south of Sydney. Its main beach is Werri, a popular surfing beach and it has two ocean pools, one at the southern end of the beach and one at nearby Boat Harbour.
