Last Day of Winter in Jervis Bay
We headed out with the SUP on the roof of the car to go paddling at the sheltered beaches of Jervis Bay, but a westerly wind and a bit of sea-chop put paid to that. So we went swimming at Greenfield Beach and then enjoyed a lovely walk along the Scribbly Gum bushwalk to Chinamans Beach. Glorious late winter weather saw the mercury top 24º and we were very happy we had our swimmers with us.
Greenfield Beach is one of a line of stunning white sand beaches on the western side of Jervis Bay. It sits between Nelsons and Blenheim Beaches to the north and Chinamans and Hyams to the south and is a perfectly majestic and surprisingly large crescent beach accessed via the coast road in Vincentia.
