Incredible Sunrise Light Over the Bay at Hyams Beach
As early as Tuesday the cloud forecast pointed to great colour at sunrise on Friday, so I made plans to get up early and photograph the lightshow over Jervis Bay. I had intended to go to Red Point but I had a change of heart on the way down and carried on further round to Hyams Beach. It was a beautiful morning with amazing light and the dolphins put in an early appearance, gliding west down the beach in the pre-dawn light.
Location
Hyams Beach does not have the whitest sand in the world, but it does have the 7th whitest sand in Australia. It’s an exceptionally popular beach on the western edge of Jervis Bay and is lovely if you get there before the world rocks up.
