Forecast looked great for a colourful sunrise so I set the alarm and Qwas on the beach ready to enjoy the lightshow. It started colouring up very early with pastel shades nearly an hour before sunrise. I started off with the DSLR, then flew the drone and then back to the DSLR again. Fun times. πŸ™‚

Location

Shoalhaven Heads Beach is towards the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, just before the start of the old Shoalhaven River mouth. It’s a fairly wild bit of beach as they go, but you can capture some great shots by including the arc of the beach heading north and south.
