Distant High Cloud on the Horizon
The forecast was split for this morning’s sunrise. One suggested clear skies and one suggested a bit of high cloud. I decided to head out anyway and see for myself. This is always the best course of action because you never know what mother nature is going to throw at you. As it happened there was a bank of high cloud a long way out towards the horizon and they provided a nice splash of colour to see in the morning.
Shoalhaven Heads Beach is towards the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, just before the start of the old Shoalhaven River mouth. It’s a fairly wild bit of beach as they go, but you can capture some great shots by including the arc of the beach heading north and south.
