Crimson Skies Above the Shoalhaven Estuary

Living in an area of restricted airspace I don’t get the luxury of flying my drone every evening of the week – I’m stuck with just the weekend – Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And if the weather’s bad on those days then tough luck. So when it is nice at the weekend I try and make a point of flying. On Sunday the clouds were looking good and there was very little wind, so I headed over Shoalhaven Heads and flew above the estuary.

Location

The estuary at Shoalhaven Heads is a great place to take in the sunset and spot some wildlife. The shallow waters here are usually closed to the ocean and not so deep that you can’t wade right out into them
