Autumn Cool Kicks In
Kind of a weird sunset on Sunday. The cooler weather arrived on the back of a turbulent low pressure front and the numbers at the beach had thinned out a bit. The beach was getting smacked by a sizeable swell blown in by some strong winds and I thought some kite surfers were taking advantage, but it turned out to be just kites, with no surfing. Oh and they were doing a photoshoot too – I suspect it was the fine people at Natural Necessity surf shop in Gerringong. The shot of the young lady sat on her own was one of the models.
Seven Mile Beach at Gerroa is my ‘go to’ beach as it’s a short drive from my house and offers a flexible number of landscapes in one small area. You can shoot on the beach, on the reserve by the boat ramp, over the rocks behind Crooked River or round the corner at Black Head.
