I really liked the look of the clouds forecast for Monday’s sunrise, so I decided to set the alarm a bit earlier than usual and make the effort to head somewhere cool. I decided to go to Callala Beach a the Myola end, because I though the dolphins might show up and create the perfect foreground for a sunrise. And while the dolphins didn’t get the memo and slept in, the sunrise colours were indeed excellent and I had a great time flying the drone.

Location

Myola is a seriously sleepy little holiday village on the northern side of Currumbene Creek. It’s within spitting distance of Huskisson but the only way to drive there is through Callala Beach.
