Unsettled winter weather has been the dominant force on the coast over the last 10 days or so, with near-constant rain. The rain is welcome of course because we are in drought, but I was hoping for a few more breaks in the cloud cover to take some photographs. The skies finally cleared enough yesterday to merit a trip out, so I headed out to the estuary to capture the evening.
Location
The estuary at Shoalhaven Heads is a great place to take in the sunset and spot some wildlife. The shallow waters here are usually closed to the ocean and not so deep that you can’t wade right out into them
