Affinity for Photographers – A First Review
It’s 'free', but you might want to read the privacy policy

anva have finally unveiled their plans for the Affinity suite and, in doing so, launched their biggest assault yet on the dynastic corporate monolith that dominates the creative software world.
The rumour mill went into overdrive when they shuttered the old Serif website and forums and, in a grade-A dick move, teased everyone for a month with the vague slogan “creative freedom.” But now, the shrink-wrap’s off the funky new website and the masterplan revealed: all three Affinity apps are now free – “no strings attached.”
It’s a generous gesture on the surface, but one that quietly rewrites what Affinity even is. And for photographers, that change might matter more than the price tag ever did.
