How Not to Shit Yourself When that Once-in-a-lifetime Photo Opportunity Arises
The rough guide to clean shots and clean underwear

U
nless you’re flying FPV drones through active volcanoes or making first contact with cannibalistic tribes in the Amazon, landscape photography is a mostly sedate hobby – normally no more stressful than watering the houseplants on a Sunday afternoon.
(It’s not a complaint – that’s what we like about it.)
But occasionally – occasionally – fate delivers something more dynamic than a misty lake, a lonely tree or a sunlight dappled forest. Occasionally fate grabs you by the balls … or y’know … the lady balls, gives ‘em a good hard yank and drops the opportunity of a lifetime in your lap.
Thunderstruck and wide-eyed you have one chance to get it right. Will you rise to the challenge, or fluff it and spend the next decade or two broken and despondent, re-living the failure in your head every time you pick up a camera. When fate intervenes and your peaceful photo-session suddenly feels like defusing a bomb with chopsticks while wearing boxing gloves … here is now NOT to shit yourself.
