Adobe Lightroom 14.3 Review

This Isn't Innovation

A
dobe just rolled out some big updates to both Lightroom and Photoshop with brand new enhancements to AI masking. Lightroom has some of the best masking tools on the market and, under increasing pressure from non-subscription alternatives to their over-priced software, Adobe are seeking to push ahead of the crowd. To that end they have added segmented subject-based AI masks to this latest version of the app. They’re called landscape masks, but actually they’re not exclusively for landscape photographers – they’re for any photographer that shoots outdoors.

So did they knock it out of the park with this latest big update to Lightroom? Or are these new masking tools just another gimmick by a failing company that’s fighting to stay relevant?

Don’t believe the hype!
