Atmos for Weather & Photo App for iOS – Review

It's not finished

T
here are surprisingly few forecast apps pitched directly at photographers and even then they tend to be quite specialist. Clear Outside for instance is a venerable web service and Android/iOS app that shows cloud cover predictions and AlpenGlow focuses purely on sunrise/sunset colour predictions. So it’s nice to see a more general purpose forecast app pitched at photographers across multiple niches.

Atmos has been developed by Matthew Raifman, available now for iPhone only. It is subscription-only, due (so Matthew says) to the cost of the weather APIs he’s using for the predictions – and definitely not just because he’s keen on the recurring income.
