After yesterday’s awesome sunrise I had high hopes for some colour in the sky in the evening – but it wasn’t to be. I headed down to Hay Avenue in Shoalhaven Heads and the best of it was some early golden colour as the sun headed south. This morning’s sunrise wasn’t great either. I always like being down on the beach early, seeing everyone coming and going, but a bit more colour wouldn’t have gone amiss. So I decided to combine the end of the previous day and the start of the current day in one collection …

Location
Shoalhaven Heads Beach is towards the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, just before the start of the old Shoalhaven River mouth. It’s a fairly wild bit of beach as they go, but you can capture some great shots by including the arc of the beach heading north and south.
